Ticketing FAQs

ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
No, unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for National Veterans Parade Foundation (NVPF) tickets. However, you have two options available to you:

  • You may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member.
  • Alternatively, you can choose to donate your ticket to a military veteran through National Veteran Parade Foundation. In exchange for your donation, NVPF Team will provide you with a tax-deduction receipt.

CAN I TRANSFER MY NVPF GALA TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes, you may transfer your ticket to a guest of your choosing. Please note that the name on the ticket must match the identification of the person attending the event.

HOW DO I TRANSFER MY NATIONAL VETERANS PARADE FOUNDATION GALA TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?
To transfer your ticket, simply provide the name of the new attendee to our customer service team via email or phone. They will update the registration information accordingly. All tickets must be registered under the legal name as it appears on your government issued ID, with a corresponding Cell number for that ticket assignee as per Secret Service Guidlines.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND AND I DON’T KNOW ANYONE TO TRANSFER THE TICKET(S) TO?

Unfortunately, if you are unable to attend the event and do not know anyone who can use your ticket, we cannot offer a refund or credit for future events.

However, you have the option to donate your ticket to a military veteran, which would qualify as a charitable tax donation.

ARE DISCOUNT TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR THE NATIONAL VETERANS PARADE FOUNDATION GALA?
Currently, we do not offer discount tickets for the NVP Gala, and there are no special discounts for veterans or first responders.

All tickets are priced at the standard rate to support the event’s fundraising goals. Any possible discount will be posted on our Social Media and our Ticket Purchase link. If you have any questions about ticket pricing or availability, or if you’re interested in other ways to support the Gala, such as making a donation or sponsoring a table.

WHEN DO I RECEIVE THE QRL CODE TO GET INTO THE PROPERTY?
The QR code provided by the Secret Service is required for guest check-in at The Mar-a-Lago Club. The QR code can be displayed on your phone and must be visible and scannable for security. If you do not receive your QR code, contact us at 202-674-8490 immediately to resolve the issue.

Entry without the QR code may cause delays or prevent entry, as the code is linked to your name on the guest list. Any discrepancies between the name on the QR code and your government-issued ID could also delay entry. If you lose or forget your QR code, contact the Mar-a-Lago Club, and the Secret Service will assist with verification.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I BRING A WEAPON TO MAR-A-LAGO?
If a guest is found in possession of a weapon, the following actions will be taken:

  1. Immediate Confiscation: The weapon will be immediately confiscated by security personnel.
  2. Removal from Premises: The guest will be escorted off the property and prohibited from returning.
  3. Legal Action: Depending on the severity of the violation and local laws, the individual may face legal consequences, including possible arrest and prosecution.

The gates will open at 5:40 PM EST. Please plan to arrive promptly to ensure a smooth check-in and enjoy the cocktail reception starting at 6:00 PM

ARE RIDESHARE SERVICES LIKE UBER AND LYFT ALLOWED AT THE MAR-A-LAGO CLUB?
Please be advised that Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services are not allowed directly at The Mar-a-Lago Club. If you are utilizing a rideshare service, please follow this policy:
Unless you are a registered member of the Mar A Lago Club, you may not enter anywhere on property with your vehicle. Please see shuttle service guidelines for the Hilton Hotel Airport.

WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN PROCESS AT THE MAR-A-LAGO CLUB FOR THE NATIONAL VETERANS PARADE FOUNDATION GALA?
The Mar-a-Lago Club uses a QR code-based system for guest check-in. To ensure a smooth entry, all guests must:

  • Provide their first and last name, mobile phone number, and/or email to the event organizer at least 72 hours prior to the event to receive a QR code for entry.
  • Upon check in at the Hilton Hotel Airport Property, present a VALID Driver’s License, Military ID, or US passport. Your hotel parking is complimentary. The Hilton Hotel, National Veterans Parade Foundation, and the Mar a Lago Club are not responsible for damage or theft of your vehicle or it’s contents.
  • Please note that any discrepancy between the name on the guest list and the name on your government-issued ID may result in delays during check-in. All guests are required to check in at the Hilton Hotel at the Airport.


ARE THERE ANY SECURITY MEASURES OR PROHIBITED ITEMS AT THE MAR-A-LAGO CLUB FOR THE NATIONAL VETERANS PARADE FOUNDATION GALA?
The Mar-a-Lago Club is a “restricted area” secured by the U.S. Secret Service under 18 USC 3056. By entering the club, all members, guests, and vendors consent to searches of their person, vehicles, belongings, and electronic devices. Failure to consent will result in denied entry. 

Prohibited items include: 

  • Firearms
  • Explosives
  • Knives
  • Mace/Pepper spray
  • Drones or unmanned aircraft
  • Any weapons or items deemed potential safety hazards

Unauthorized entry or remaining in the restricted area is a violation of federal law and may lead to arrest and prosecution.

CAN I BE DENIED ENTRY TO THE MAR-A-LAGO CLUB EVEN IF I PURCHASED TICKETS TO THE NATIONAL VETERANS PARADE FOUNDATION GALA?
Yes, The Mar-a-Lago Club maintains a restricted list. If your name appears on this list, you will be denied entry, even if you have purchased tickets.
Please note: Tickets are non-refundable, and being on the restricted list does not qualify for a refund. We strongly recommend confirming your status with Mar-a-Lago if you believe you may be restricted from entry.

WEAPONS POLICY
Mar-a-Lago has a strict no weapons policy.
This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Firearms
  • Knives (including pocket knives)
  • Explosives
  • Tasers
  • Pepper spray
  • Any other self-defense tools.

Guests are not permitted to bring weapons onto the property, regardless of whether they hold a permit to carry.

WHY ARE POLITICAL FIGURES SOMETIMES PRESENT AT NATIONAL VETERANS PARADE FOUNDATION GALA?
The National Veterans Parade Foundation is nonpolitical, as such, we may occasionally invite speakers who have either served in the military or demonstrated a strong record of advocating for veterans, such as introducing or supporting legislation that improves the lives of service members and their families. Selection is based on their impact and commitment to veterans, regardless of political affiliation.

WHO WILL RECEIVE THE FUNDS RAISED DURING THE EVENT?
100% the funds raised will be directly donated to the Natonal Veterans Parade Foundation, a nonprofit tasked with funding all expenses incurred by the National Park Service, the Washington DC Government, private vendors, and all remaining funds are donated to Veteran Service Organizations that serve Veterans Suicide awareness and prevention services.

ARE DONATIONS MADE DURING THE EVENT TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, donations made during the event are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a confirmation receipt for your contribution, which can be used for tax purposes.

WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE AUCTIONS?
The silent and live auctions will feature exclusive items such as fine artworks, memorablia, luxury vacations,, and once-ina- lifetime experiences. All proceeds from the auctions will benefit the National Veterans Parade Foundation.

HOW CAN MY COMPANY BECOME A SPONSOR OF THE NATIONAL VETERANS PARADE FOUNDATION?
We offer several sponsorship levels that include VIP access, brand exposure, National Veteans Parade Day Floats, recogntion, advertising, social media promotion, and recognition at the event. IS MY COMPANY’S SPONSORSHIP TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, corporate sponsorships are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A sponsorship package outlining your contribution will be provided for tax purposes.

IS THE VENUE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. Mar-a-Lago and all associated event areas are wheelchair accessible, including entrances, restrooms, and main event spaces. Staff will be available to assist with access as needed.

HOW SHOULD I NOTIFY STAFF OF MY ACCESSIBILITY OR MEDICAL NEEDS?
Guests requiring special accommodations (including wheelchair access, medical assistance, or transportation support) must inform National Veterans Parade Foundation staff no later than February 2nd, 2026.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS WITH MOBILITY CHALLENGES?
Yes. Transportation support is available for guests with medical or accessibility needs. Please notify the NVPF Staff by February 2nd, 2026 so proper arrangements can be made for accessible shuttles or dropoff locations.

ARE MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA ALLOWED TO COVER THE NVPF GALA?
Yes. Accredited media representatives are welcome to cover the event; however, all press attendance and media activity are subject to prior approval and security clearance.

HOW DO MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS OBTAIN CLEARANCE TO FILM OR RECORD AT NVPF GALA?
All news agencies or media outlets intending to use video recording equipment must obtain clearance from Mar-a-Lago and the U.S. Secret Service.
Media Passes must be confirmed by February 2nd, 2026

WHAT INFORMATION MUST BE INCLUDED IN A PRESS APPLICATION?
Each media organization must submit:

  • Full names and contact information of attending crew members
  • Type of media outlet (TV, print, digital, etc.) 
  • Purpose and scope of coverage
  • ist of equipment to be used (cameras, tripods, lighting, etc.)
  • Copy of government-issued ID for all attendees.

Incomplete applications will not be process.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON FILMING OR PHOTOGRAPHY?
Yes. Only pre-approved media may film or photograph inside Mar-a-Lago. Certain areas are restricted for privacy and security reasons.
Media must comply with all direction from Mar-a-Lago staff, the Secret Service, and National Veterans Parade Foundation Gala personnel at all times.
